I enjoy watching students be creative and ask questions.   Students in my classes work closely in groups while learning to respect others and accept their ideas.  Many new jobs in the future global economy will require science, creativity and strong communication skills.  My classes are designed to empower students with these 21st century skills. 

I especially love working with our Science Olympiad team after school.  Participants in Science Olympiad not only have fun and make lasting friendships, but participation has been shown to lower dropout rates, raise EOG scores in every subject area, and excite students about science careers.
